In March 2002 Jan Philip Lange, Anke Hartwig and Niklas Bäumer founded the JUNIFILM GmbH, which emerged from the Daisy Film GbR, which was formed in June 2001, as a student at the Film University Babelsberg "Konrad Wolf". By 2012, nine productions were created - from commercials to a children's series episode to feature films that won various festival awards. Already in the first productions - with directors such as Norbert Baumgarten, Franziska Meletzky, Matthias Luthardt and others - well-known actresses such as Axel Prahl, Florian Lukas, Dagmar Manzel, Jörg Schüttauf, Sebastian Urzendowsky, Stefan Kurt and many others participated.
In August 2018, the initiator of JUNIFILM, Jan Philip Lange, took over the company as the main shareholder and relocated the company headquarters to its home state of Lower Saxony. Here, where Langes work in the film business started in 1989, JUNIFILM wants to establish itself as a producer of films of various genres.
Additional shareholders of JUNIFILM are Nils Loof, writer, director, producer and professor at the University of Applied Sciences Hannover (media, information and design), Cineteam Hannover GmbH, established in Lower Saxony for about 40 years, and the original co-founders Anke Hartwig and Niklas Bäumer.
Lower Saxony also offers good conditions for the production of both feature and non-fiction films - supported by the regional film fund nordmedia and the broadcaster NDR. Especially in the field of feature film productions JUNIFILM will develop and realize projects from its "homebase" Lower Saxony - of course also beyond national borders and for a national and international audience.

Born in 1974 in Gehrden (Lower Saxony), started his own film work at the age of 14, graduated from high school Lehrte, studied film and television production at the Film University Babelsberg "Konrad Wolf". During the study foundation of the production company JUNIFILM, together with Anke Hartwig and Niklas Bäumer, activity as producer and managing director.
Work as a Junior Producer and Producer at Studio Hamburg Produktion, as a freelance production manager and permanent employee at WDR for commissioned, co-produced and self-produced productions (including "Tatort", "Die Lindenstraße", "Die Sendung mit der Maus") and many more). Production manager at the Hamburg Relevant Film (TV movies for ARD, ZDF, Sat.1 and TV series for ARD and KiKa, feature films). Two-year change of perspective as operations manager and managing director of a subsidiary of Verkehrsbetriebe Hamburg-Holstein, in 2015 return to film production as head and in-house producer of the Hamburg branch of The Post Republic. From December 2016 to May 2017 freelance production manager and postproduction supervisor, subsequently production manager of the Hamburg film production company Tamtam Film. Since August 2018 managing partner and producer of JUNIFILM GmbH.
